Hello
fellow Christians,
Last
year I began teaching and leading a team of people at our church and teaching
two bible studies a week. After being healed of
over 14 different diseases including cancer and a broken back without any
medications, I felt that I needed to share my healings with others and help them
get on their way with their walk with the Lord. I now minister to
people that are troubled with either health or relationship issues 25-35 hours a
week. These are people from my church or
from Pastor Wright in Georgia, and some are simply referrals from others that I
have helped. I have spent as long as a
week with a family that had been fighting for their marriage, to a grandson
involved in drugs and witchcraft.
Last
fall I went on a mission trip to Cuidad Victoria, Mexico with 10 friends that I
had been ministering to for several months. This trip was life changing for me. I led the teaching and the ministry to over 50-60 people a night, and
many others during the day. I even
taught at a men’s prison where I taught about forgiveness.
One night we ministered to several very young
girls that were orphans. They were only
10-12 years old and had been sold into prostitution as children, or just thrown
away like trash by their families. I met
the woman that owned the very small and simple orphanage. She is an American that is helping out where
she can. She gives a home to 12
children, and a pastor, his wife and their 3 children. But her funds are extremely limited. (School in Mexico in rural areas is $520.00 a
year and most cannot afford it. In the
major cities it is $50.00 a month, and many families send their children to live
with relatives in the country so they can afford to send their children to
school.) Each child at the orphanage has
a box on a small shelf where all their belongings must fit. This box is 12” x 18” and 12” deep. Their shoes, socks, pj’s, toys, and clothing
fit in this one box. They have nothing
else but love from the woman that lives at the orphanage and the pastor and his
wife who also live there with their three children. Food is very limited as is
transportation. The pastor’s vehicle is
a very old truck that is constant need of repair.
The Lord has laid on my heart to help this
orphanage and perhaps more places like this as I get acquainted and as I receive
funds. In January I started a non-profit organization called
“Heart of Forgiveness” ministry. Besides
teaching about forgiveness at churches of all denominations, my goal is to help
these orphans and others like them, not just in Mexico but here in the U.S.
Also.
The
Bible places great emphasis on assisting the poor and helpless, especially
orphans, widows, and the handicapped.
James
1:27 (NLT)
27 Pure
and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and
widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
Exodus
22:22 (AMP)
22 You
shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.
If you would like to make a financial contribution to my ministry
"heart of Forgiveness," you will receive a free rosary for all contributions of
$50 increments or more and tax a receipt at the end of the year. Due to the
fees I have to pay through pay pal, however, I ask that you send
checks. If you are interested in helping
these children, you may simply make a one time or a regular donation to the
general support of my ministry. Checks can be sent to:

Matthew
10:5-8 (AMP)
5 Jesus
sent out these twelve, charging them, Go nowhere among the Gentiles and do not
go into any town of the Samaritans;
6 But
go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And
as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!
8 Cure
the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely (without
pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give.
Several
people have asked me why I don’t do this for Americans instead of these people
in Mexico. I am learning as I am going. This is a first for me. I have
raised money for many organizations in the past when I lived in Houston. But, I have never helped; hands on with beautiful little children that
no one wants in a foreign country. I
plan to try to help more here in the U.S., but this opportunity has arisen and I
feel this is where the Lord is leading me right now and teaching me how to
assist others where there is not as much red tape in order to help.
I know of several single moms in Lampasas with
several children that could not afford Christmas gifts or even something new for
their children to wear at Christmas, and I feel led to help these mom’s this
year at Christmas. I also know of several senior citizens that have difficulty
paying for their utilities and even food, that I want to help assist. Every penny that is sent is used for what it
is sent for. None of your money will be
spent on fat pay checks and cushy jobs, before it goes to help these people and
my ministry to the broken and dejected.
I ask you to search your heart and to send
whatever amount the Lord lays on your heart to send either every month or
occasionally when you can. Your gifting
is tax deductible, and I will claim it at the end of the year and a statement
will be sent to you for the IRS of your contributions.
Luke
6:38 (NLT)
38 Give,
and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken
together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The
amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
May
God bless you.
In
His Light,
